I view coaching as a partnership where you can unlock your potential and learn to live in greater alignment with your values. Coaching provides a “container” to do things like:
clarify your ideal future and work backwards to design a plan to get there
identify (and update!) the limiting beliefs and behavioral patterns that hold you back
practice new approaches in small, manageable steps to transform your ways of thinking and being
My coaching is designed to be a mix of challenge and support to enable you to expand your perspective and live with more authenticity and fulfillment. We will do this primarily through thoughtful conversation, where I will ask you questions and support you in exploring insights and “connecting dots.” At times, we will also use specific coaching tools or exercises to compliment our work, which will be tailored to your goals.
I will meet you where you are as we co-design our experience, remaining flexible yet providing accountability and structure, to amplify your ability to meet your goals and work toward your dreams.
I believe each person already has the inner capability and strength you need to find the answers and insights to live the life you imagine. My job is not to give you answers or prescribe what you should do with your life. My job is to walk alongside you, creating the space for you to speak openly and truly hear yourself - maybe for the first time. As you uncover your inner truth, and what’s getting in the way, we will work together to leverage this learning in order to transform your way of thinking and being.
For me, coaching is a whole-person practice, in that it has the ability to impact clients in both their professional and personal lives. Though many people come to coaching to address a challenge in their work life, I believe that our professional challenges are often connected to deeper beliefs and values that go beyond work. And I openly invite and encourage that complexity and richness in my coaching.
As a person and a coach, I deeply value and aim to embody the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, justice and anti-racism in my work and life.
I’m passionate about working with people who may not be “first in line” for coaching in traditional realms, especially those in nonprofit organizations or other social sector jobs. Those who are early or mid-career, those who haven’t known many people who’ve been coached, or those who have tried other approaches to chart their path and keep coming up empty.

Over my years of work and study, I’ve honed my skills as a coach and partner on change journeys. In addition to my coach-specific training and certifications, I have a Masters degree in learning and change.
I spent 2+ years studying how adults learn, how organizations adapt and develop, and how to support people and organizations through transitions so the changes they seek are aligned, intentional, successful, and sustainable.
The topic of my Masters research thesis was coaching and how coaches can partner with their clients to increase their sense of confidence and self-efficacy.
Prior to launching my business, I spent 7 years partnering with individuals and communities in the nonprofit sector in Chicago, Illinois and Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA.

Why “Evergreen” ?
I decided to use the name Evergreen for two reasons:
The symbolism. Evergreen trees evoke strength and grounded-ness – they are the only trees that keep their leaves through the winter season, while others lose their leaves amidst the wind and weather. Human beings come to coaching to learn to thrive and live in grounded alignment, despite the environments, perceptions of others, or external challenges that inevitably swirl around us.
The personal. When training to become a coach, my street was called Evergreen. Because I see coaching as a whole-person experience, I wanted to honor the personal and professional experiences I bring into my coaching.
